An address for everything, all in one inbox
Addresses should be cheap. Make one per shop, newsletter or project in a couple of seconds, see where mail comes from, and switch off any address that starts getting spam.
Kinds of addresses
| Type | Example | How it behaves |
|---|---|---|
| Main address | ana@yourdomain.com | Your default sending identity. It does not have to match your login. |
| Alias | info@yourdomain.com | Delivered to the same mailbox. You can send from it. |
| Plus addressing | ana+shop@yourdomain.com | Always works, no setup. The +tag can file mail into a folder automatically. |
| Catch-all | anything@yourdomain.com | Catches addresses that do not exist yet. The first message "learns" the address, so you can block it later on its own. |
| Subdomain wildcard Later | x@shop.yourdomain.com | Like catch-all, but on a separate subdomain, so your main domain stays tidy. |
| Masked alias | bright.otter.17@yourdomain.com | Random, linked to the website you used it on, on your own domain. Created from webmail, the API, your AI agent or the Bitwarden generator. |
| Forwarding | mum@yourdomain.com → mum@example.net | Not a mailbox, just a redirect to another address, done in a way that keeps SPF and DMARC passing. |
Unlimited on every account.
Replies come from the right address
When you reply, centomail picks the address the message was sent to. This matters most for catch-all and masked aliases: your main address never leaks to a shop or a stranger.
Pause or block in one click
Every message has a "Block this address" button. Paused addresses bounce with a clear error; blocked addresses are dropped quietly, if that is what you choose. Either way you can turn them back on.
Notes and statistics
Each alias can carry a note such as "signed up at example-shop", and shows how many messages it received and when the last one arrived. Leaks become obvious.
Deliver where you want
Per alias: into the inbox, into a folder, forwarded to another address, or both. Create a new alias right from the From field while writing.
Keep the inbox you already use
An alias can forward to an address you already have, such as Gmail. Replies you write there still go out from the alias, so your real address stays private. How forwarding and replies work.
Make aliases from your password manager or your agent
Our alias API is compatible with SimpleLogin and addy.io, so the Bitwarden generator can create aliases on your domain. Or ask your AI agent: "make an alias for this shop and tell me which one".
