1. Who we are

2. The service
centomail is an email service for your own domains. Every account includes mailboxes, mail forwarding, webmail, IMAP / SMTP / JMAP access, aliases on your own domains, an API and access for AI assistants. Prices are on the pricing page.

3. Your account
- You must give accurate sign-up information and keep a working recovery address.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials, app passwords and API keys safe.
- One account is for one person. [TO DECIDE: whether a one-person business may use a personal account; current intent is yes.]
4. Your domains
- You may only connect domains you control.
- You are responsible for your domain registration and its DNS. We warn you when we detect problems, but we cannot prevent changes made outside centomail.
- If someone else proves control of a domain through DNS, the domain may be moved to their account (see Custom domains).
5. The plan, payment and taxes
- There is one prepaid plan. You top up a balance in advance, and each day the balance pays for the account and for the storage and sending you used, at the prices on the pricing page. There is no subscription and no monthly bill.
- New accounts start with a trial credit, within the limits shown on the pricing page.
- Payments are processed by Creem ([CREEM LEGAL ENTITY]), which acts as merchant of record and is the seller of the top-up. Creem's terms apply to the purchase. Taxes are calculated and collected by Creem.
- Top-ups are not refunded, including an unused balance when you close your account. [TO BE CONFIRMED BY A LAWYER: consumer withdrawal rights.]

6. When your balance runs out
When the balance reaches zero, sending stops and receiving continues. If the balance stays at zero, the account becomes read-only after 30 days, incoming mail is rejected with a clear reply to the sender after about 90 days, and the account is deleted after about 12 months. We warn you before each step.
7. Acceptable use
You must follow the Acceptable use policy. We may limit sending or suspend accounts that break it, as described there.
8. Your content
Your mail and data remain yours. We process them only to provide the service, as described in the Privacy policy. You can export your data at any time.
9. AI assistants
If you connect an AI assistant through MCP, it acts on your instructions with the access you granted. Data it reads is processed by the assistant's provider under that provider's terms. An assistant can send mail only if you gave it permission to send, and what it sends counts as sent by you, under the same limits and rules as any other mail from your account.
10. Availability and changes
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. [TO DECIDE: service level commitments, if any.] We may change features; we will give [NOTICE PERIOD] notice of changes that significantly reduce what the plan includes.
11. Ending your account
