Balance and billing
One prepaid plan. What costs what, how the balance is used, and what happens when it runs out.
centomail has one plan. You top up a balance in advance, and each day we take what that day cost. There are no tiers and no monthly invoice.
What costs what
| Price | |
|---|---|
| Account | €0.01 a day |
| Mail storage | €0.75 per GB a year, charged daily for what is stored |
| Sending | €0.30 per 1,000 messages, counted per recipient |
| Receiving and internal delivery | free |
| Domains, mailboxes, aliases, members | free, unlimited |
Taxes are added at checkout by our payment provider, depending on where you are.
Topping up
Open the console, then Billing in the menu under your name. Choose an amount (at least €10) and pay. The balance shows how many days it lasts at your recent daily cost.
Payments are not refunded. Top up what you expect to use.
Trial
A new account starts with €1 of trial credit and can send up to 50 messages a day. The first top-up ends the trial and lifts that limit.
Reminders
We email you when the balance has about 30 days left, and again at 7 days.
When the balance runs out
Nothing is deleted at once. Mail keeps arriving, but:
- Right away: sending stops.
- After 30 days: the account becomes read-only. You can read and download everything, but not change it.
- After 90 days: the account is suspended and new mail to your addresses is refused.
- After 365 days: the account and its mail are deleted. We warn you 30 days before.
A top-up at any point before deletion brings everything back as it was.
